FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the Industrial Flake System different from the Standard Flake System?

It adds a sand-broadcast TMUC reinforcement layer beneath the vinyl flake, giving it the same heavy-duty, forklift-rated strength as Liberty’s other industrial systems — while keeping the decorative flake finish.

Yes, it’s rated for forklift and heavy-traffic areas, manufacturing, and warehouses, combining industrial-grade strength with a decorative flake finish.

No — the flake is broadcast to 100% refusal and sealed beneath a Premium Polyaspartic topcoat, locking it into the system rather than leaving it exposed as a surface-only finish.

Yes — it carries the same third-party lab-approved rating for up to 99% RH and 25 lbs moisture vapor, plus thermal shock resistance from -20°F to 230°F.

Yes — it’s designed to meet cGMP compliance requirements while giving the space a more finished, professional look than a plain industrial coating.

The topcoat includes slip-resistant texture to maintain traction even when floors are wet, which matters in wash-down manufacturing and food-adjacent environments.

Yes, it meets FDA, USDA, EPA, ADA, and OSHA requirements.

Coverage runs about 200 sq ft per kit for each TMUC layer and roughly 200 sq ft per 2-gallon kit for the topcoat, depending on flake density. [CRO hook: “Get a materials estimate for your facility in under 24 hours.”]
